Villa Caravella... in "Praia da Luz"

A modern, recently constructed yet traditional-style villa in the small community of Jardim de Caravella which has just six villas, built in what were the vast gardens of an old Luz estate. From here it's just a 5 minute walk to the centre of the village for a wide selection of shops and restaurants and the wonderful sandy beach, where you'll find well located beach, restaurants and a wide choice of water sports. The villa is attractively and comfortably furnished and has full air conditioning to keep you cool on the warmest days, insect screens on the windows and its set in delightful split-level gardens with a children's splash pool.

The living accommodation is arranged over two floors; on the upper floor is the master double bedroom with en suite bathroom and twin bedroom with en suite bathroom, both have doors to a shaded balcony with views over the beautiful grounds.

On the ground floor is a twin bedroom with en suite bathroom. Modern fitted kitchen fully equipped for self catering with granite work surfaces, an electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

Very attractive living and dining room with a gas fire for the cooler evenings outside the main summer months. It's equipped with satellite TV, DVD player and CD for entertainment as well as Wi-Fi which must be requested. Patio doors open to a shaded patio and the attractive, kidney-shaped pool with integral steps in the shallow end. The shaded area makes an ideal spot for relaxed al fresco dining beside the pool on fresh local produce straight from the barbecue. There's also a second sitting room with a sofa bed which can be made available for extra guests if required for a supplementary fee. The villa is set in beautifully manicured grounds with a large lawn on a slightly higher level with a small children's splash pool only for use under supervision. The level is dominated by the towering palms that provide some dappled shade around the gardens.

Just a short walk into the village of Luz for all the shops, restaurants and bars you'll need, Luz is well known for its sporting activities which include a full range of water sports and a renowned tennis centre where coaching is available. There are a number of golf courses in the area, with Boa Vista on the way to Lagos perhaps the nearest.
