Newer and larger Hotels tend to have some adapted rooms, though the facilities may not be up to scratch. Most Campgrounds have accessible toilets and some B&Bs / Hostels have facilities for people with disabilities.

In some areas, cobbled streets and hills, may be difficult for some travelers with disabilities, but not impossible.

Designated parking spaces are allotted in many places. The EU parking card entitles visitors to the same street-parking concessions given to disabled residents.

Amongst many others across Algarve, Praia da Luz beach is wheelchair accessible.
