You can find some good horse riding centers in the Lagos area that cater for all ages and levels of skill. They will offer you a good variety of quality rides and competition horses. Some centers will also offer you the possibility to ride on a pure "Lusitano", a legendary Portuguese horse breed. You get to ride thru the hills, the valleys, the country side, across the riverbeds or even on some of the nearby beaches.
